Short Bio

Dr.S.Ravi Shankar S is Associate Professor at the Department of MBA, Builders Engineering College (BEC). Ravi completed his PhD in Human Resource from Anna University, Chennai. He is primary member of Marketing Area and Secondary member of Human Resource Management. Before joining BEC he worked with Wipro Technologies, Bangalore. Ravi’s core competency lies in the area of Recruitment and Selection, Performance Appraisal, Employee Engagement and Consumer Behaviour. He has published papers in multiple top-tier academic journals such as International Journal of Enterprise Network Management, Intercontinental Journal of Human Resource Research Review (IJHRRR), International Journal of Science, Technology and Management (IJSTM), International Journal of Scientific Research (IJSR) and International Journal of Communications and Engineering. Ravi has played an enormous role as a Head of Institution’s Entrepreneurship Development Cell. As an acknowledgment of his influential work in EDC, he has received numerous awards from the Ministry of Education (MOE)’s - Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) and from Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises throughout his academic career.
