Short Bio

Dr. T. Prakash received his M.Sc. degree in Physics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, in 2009, and completed his doctoral degree at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, in December 2014. Postdoctoral research was conducted at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shandong University, Jinan, China. With a research specialization in energy storage and sensors, Dr. Prakash has 10 years of experience in academics and research. His publication record includes more than 30 manuscripts in reputed international journals, which have garnered a significant number of citations. His research aims at advancing techniques for creating and analyzing nanomaterials to enhance their performance in practical applications. The synthesis and characterization of metal oxide nanoparticles for various batteries, including Li-S, Na-ion, K-ion, and Li-ion, form a significant part of his work. Since September 2023, he has served as an Associate Professor of Physics at Builders Engineering College. Additionally, he is a recognized research supervisor (Ref. No. 2670051) at Anna University in Nanotechnology.
