Short Bio

Dr. R.Umadevi earned her Ph.D in Information and Communication Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Applied Electronics from Anna University, Chennai in 2017 and 2007, respectively. She earned her undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore in 1990.Dr. R.Umadevi has more than 26 years of experience in academia and industry. She has been serving as a Professor in the ECE department of Builders Engineering College since June 2023. Her research study focuses on Special Electrical Machines and the Design of Electrical Machines. She is a recognized research supervisor (Ref. No. 3140070) at Anna University in Information and Communication Engineering
